Reads for the month of March
Here are my top five reads for March
Mommie Dearest by Christina Crawford
Christina Crawford recounts her life with her mother Joan Crawford….. needless to say it wasn’t pretty.
Suzanne Mallouk love and hate relationship with Jean Michel Basquiat.
The shoemaker is a true crime story about Joseph Kallinger who lead a double life as a husband, shoemaker and family man and who had an appetite for killing.
This book totally absorbed me when I read it. So many unknown details about the relationship of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton!
I sobbed when I finished this book about the Ramones lead singer. This book made me appreciate the band even more.

Man of the Moment
The most unlikely hero who is sponsored by Powdered Toast (TM)is this week’s man of the moment!

Yes the powder toppings he advertises kinda taste like sawdust but he fights for justice and the pursuit of breakfast!

Although not much is known about who Powdered Toast Man is; where he came from or why he decided on a tiny red speedo with gold letting on it as his superhero costume.
But he is the only superhero I know that is able to fly backwards by his farts or putting his head in a toaster!

Congrats Powered Toast Man you are this week’s MAN OF THE MOMENT!

Relatable Disco Stu
Comic book Arting it
Arting of the day!
Bernie Wrightson:

Movie of the day
Mannequin (1987) directed by Michael Gottlieb stars Andrew McCarthy, and Kim Cattrall. I use to watch this movie a lot when I was little…mostly because they would show it every Sunday on Channel 20. It made me believe that mannequin do come alive after stores close!
