Last Goodbye

There are few songs that strikes a certain cord in me. Jeff Buckley’s “Last Goodbye” is one of them. It definitely describes something I went through. Lyrics are below:

Pleasure Island: My fake dream vaca

If you asked me a question to my inner child self to pick a fake location I would want to go on vacation to then my answer would be Pinocchio’s Pleasure Island.

Why you ask? Well it place where you can do whatever you want!

If you wanted to fight, drink, smoke, play pool, wreck everything in sight and eat extreme amounts of pie…..Then this is the place for you! Basically whatever your parents told you NOT or CANNOT  do on this island allows you to DO without any grown up or teenager stopping you.

Man of the moment..

Is it no surprise that this week’s man of the moment is Mr. Tastee! This mystery ice cream head shaped man from the adventures of Pete and Pete never talked but he made his presence memorable but his mysterious aura. He was made even more memorable when he fled when questioned about his past andleft viewers wondering who was this man? was he man or desert? Will he really return next summer… 

Petunia: a  memorable tattoo

One of my favorite characters on the adventures of Pete and Pete didn’t have any speaking parts on the show. Her character was more visual and rhythmic . Petunia was a tattoo on small Pete’s forearm; she wore a red dress to match her tomato red hair. Pete got her as a Mother’s Day gift for his mom.  In lewd of flowers and chocolate that year he decided to give the gift of ink on his skin. Nothing says “I love you Mom” then a tattoo. To this day I never heard or seen a tattoo be a character on a tv show. This is the many reasons why this show ruled!
